Peter Valk

Peter graduated as a Biotechnology technician from the HLO in Delft, The Netherlands in 1984. He then studied at the University of Leiden, where he received his Master’s degree in Biology. Subsequently, he achieved his PhD after performing research at the Erasmus University Rotterdam in 1999, under supervision of professor Löwenberg. Thereafter, he worked as research fellow at the Department of Hemato-oncology of the Children's Hospital in Boston, US. In 2000, he returned to Rotterdam to join the staff of the Department of Hematology of the Erasmus University Medical Center as Head of Molecular Diagnostics.
