Tom Schwarz

Tom was trained as a pharmacist at the University of Utrecht.  Tom was co-founder, general partner of Life Sciences Partners (LSP), a biotech venture capital fund with offices in Amsterdam, Munich and Boston. At LSP, he focused on early stage investments in the Benelux. Moreover, Tom has served on the supervisory boards of many biotech companies, was a board member for BioPartner Start-up Ventures and a former member of the EVCA High Tech Committee. In 1997, Tom sold U-Gene Research, a company he spun-out of the University of Utrecht, to Kendle, a leading US clinical research organization. Tom, partner at the Erasmus MC Biomedical Fund, possesses seed and early-stage investment and corporate experience.
